Booking Terms & Conditions

By proceeding with your booking and paying a booking fee, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These have been created to ensure a smooth, professional, and enjoyable experience as we prepare for your wedding day.

Booking Fee & Confirmation

A signed contract together with a non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee of $250 is required to secure your wedding date. This booking fee confirms your reservation and commitment to the agreed services and will be deducted from your final balance, as outlined in your Bridal Proposal.

 

Your wedding date is not considered secured until the required booking fee has been received, and written confirmation has been provided.

 

Once your booking has been confirmed, the date and agreed services are reserved exclusively for you (and your bridal party).  Makeup by Tania Ferguson may decline other enquiries for the same date as a result of your confirmed booking.

Final Payment

The remaining balance is due fourteen (14) days prior to your wedding day.

Minimum Booking Requirements

All bridal bookings are subject to a minimum requirement of four (4) makeup applications, or the equivalent value of four (4) adult services.  

​

This minimum booking commitment remains payable in full regardless of any reductions, cancellations, or changes to services after the booking has been confirmed.  

Once your booking is secured, reductions in service numbers cannot be accommodated. We are, however, always happy to welcome additional services to your booking where possible. With adequate notice and where your wedding day schedule allows for flexibility, extra clients can often be accommodated and will be charged accordingly.

Bridal Preview (Makeup Trial)

A bridal preview is highly recommended for all wedding bookings and is offered at an additional cost to your Bridal Proposal.

Held in the Armstrong Creek studio, your preview is a dedicated time to collaborate and create your desired bridal look ahead of your wedding day. It also provides a relaxed opportunity for us to get to know one another, ensuring you feel confident, comfortable, and completely at ease on the morning of your wedding.

Additional Fees

To ensure complete transparency, we kindly ask that you provide as much detail as possible in your Bridal Enquiry. This allows all applicable costs to be outlined upfront in your personalised Bridal Proposal.

A call-out fee applies for all on-location services and may vary depending on your wedding location, travel distance, and timing requirements. Additional fees may also apply for early morning start times (for example, bookings requiring a start prior to 8am).  We recommend considering these factors when planning elements such as a first look with your photographer or early ceremony times.  

 

All applicable fees will be clearly outlined prior to booking and included in your Bridal Proposal. Once confirmed, these costs remain the responsibility of the Client.

Should the wedding location, getting-ready location, start time, service requirements, or wedding day schedule change after booking confirmation, any additional costs resulting from these changes will be discussed with you and added to the final balance where applicable.

Where paid parking is required at your venue or getting-ready location, these charges will also be the responsibility of the Client.

Please note that bookings on Sundays, public holidays, and long weekends may incur a surcharge, with pricing available upon application.

Cancellations & Commitment

Your wedding date is one of the most important days of your life, and Tania is honoured to reserve it exclusively for you.

 

To ensure every bride receives the highest level of service and support, only one wedding booking is accepted per day. Once your booking is confirmed, your wedding date is removed from availability, and other booking enquiries may be declined.

 

From that point forward, Tania begins dedicating time to planning, preparation, communication, scheduling, administration, and ongoing support in the lead-up to your wedding day.

 

In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your booking, written notice must be provided via email as soon as reasonably practicable.

As your wedding date has been exclusively reserved and alternative booking opportunities may have been declined, all confirmed bookings remain subject to the agreed booking value and minimum spend. Cancellations, reductions in services, changes to wedding plans, or changes to bridal party numbers will not alter the Client's financial obligations under this Agreement.

Refunds

The Booking Fee is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

​

As Tania accepts only one wedding booking per date, your wedding date is exclusively reserved upon confirmation of your booking and removed from availability. In doing so, other booking enquiries and potential work opportunities may be declined.

​

For this reason, all payments made under this Agreement, including Booking Fees, Progress Payments, Early Balance Payments, and Final Balance Payments, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

​

Any balance paid prior to the scheduled due date will be treated as payment towards the confirmed booking and will remain subject to these Refund Terms.

​

By signing this Agreement, the Client acknowledges and agrees that payments made under this Agreement are not solely for makeup services provided on the Wedding Day, but also for securing Tania's exclusive availability, time, planning, preparation, administration, and ongoing support throughout the lead-up to the wedding.

​

No refunds will be provided in the event of cancellation, postponement, change of wedding date, change of mind, changes to wedding plans, reductions in services required, changes to bridal party numbers, or any other reason initiated by the Client.

Assistants & Contingencies

To ensure a seamless and high-quality experience, Makeup by Tania Ferguson may engage trusted assistants or contractors where required.

In the unlikely event that Tania is unable to personally attend your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to arrange a suitably qualified and experienced professional to fulfil your services. You will be notified as soon as possible should this situation arise.

All artists engaged on behalf of Makeup by Tania Ferguson are carefully selected to reflect the same high standard of professionalism and quality.

​Satisfaction & Services

Due to the nature of our services, refunds are not available for completed makeup applications.

Your satisfaction is incredibly important to us, and we encourage open communication throughout your appointment. If you have any concerns or would like any adjustments, please let Tania know while she is on location so every effort can be made to refine and perfect your look at the time.

Health & Safety

Your comfort, safety, and overall experience are incredibly important to us. To ensure the highest standard of care, clients are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or skin concerns for themselves and any members of the bridal party receiving services. This allows products and application techniques to be tailored appropriately.

​

While every precaution is taken when selecting and applying products, Makeup by Tania Ferguson cannot be held responsible for any reactions or concerns arising from undisclosed information relating to medical conditions, allergies, or sensitivities.

As a mobile service provider, we kindly ask that a clean, safe, and suitable workspace is provided on the day. Adequate lighting, space, and a hygienic environment are essential, particularly as services may be carried out over several hours.

To maintain a safe and professional environment, services may be refused or ceased where there are concerns including (but not limited to) contagious illness, unsafe conditions, or behaviour that is disruptive, inappropriate, or makes the artist feel uncomfortable.

 

Young children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times within the service area. While we love pets, we kindly request that they are kept out of the immediate workspace to maintain hygiene standards and prevent potential hazards.

 

By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these conditions, and release Makeup by Tania Ferguson from liability relating to allergic reactions, product sensitivities, or injuries resulting from the consenting use of products and equipment.

Photography & Image Consent

By securing your booking with Makeup by Tania Ferguson, you grant permission for photographs of completed makeup applications to be used for promotional purposes. This may include use across our website, social media platforms, third-party features, and other marketing materials.

We always aim to share our work in a respectful and considered way. If you would prefer for your images not to be used, please let us know prior to your wedding day so we can honour your wishes.
